Canyoning in Valsesia: a natural adventure among water, rock and adrenaline
At the Valsesia Sport Rafting & Canyoning Centre you will find canyoning routes in Valsesia designed for different needs, allowing you to share an adventure with friends while discovering hidden gorges, ravines and streams.
Diving into clear natural pools, sliding down natural rock slides or descending beside waterfalls are some of the emotions that make canyoning one of the most spectacular outdoor activities in the area.
The price is per person and excludes the additional cost of €5.00 per participant for the mandatory personal accident insurance policy. Good physical condition and no vertigo are required. Alcohol and drug use is prohibited. Activity times include check-in, changing, briefing, transport, canyoning activity and return to the base.
The Briefing
Each canyoning participant receives a 5 mm neoprene wetsuit with long-john trousers and jacket, buoyancy aid, helmet and harness with lanyards and carabiners.
Technical Note:
The briefing is a fundamental and mandatory phase of the activity, both for first-time participants and for those with previous experience. Before each descent, the guides explain progression techniques, safety rules, communication signals and how to behave in the canyon.
Recommended Clothing:
For canyoning in June and September, bring a long-sleeved fleece or microfiber thermal layer, swimsuit, heavy or neoprene socks and trainers with a good sole. In the warmer months, a synthetic sports shirt, swimsuit, socks and suitable shoes are recommended.
Technical Canyoning Shoes for Hire
The Valsesia Sport Rafting & Canyoning Centre offers a wide selection of technical canyoning shoes for hire. These shoes are designed for stream activities, with high-grip soles, good stability and abrasion-resistant materials. They are recommended for canyoning and body rafting, but cannot be hired for rafting.
