Ducky in Valsesia: when rafting is no longer enough
If rafting has already given you unforgettable emotions and you now want to experience the river in an even more direct way, Ducky is the right activity for you. This experience allows you to face the descent using your own strength and skills, steering your inflatable craft independently while always supported by the instructor.
Thanks to its manoeuvrability and stability, Ducky in Valsesia is ideal for those who have already tried rafting on the Sesia River and want a more autonomous descent without giving up safety and instructor support.
After the technical briefing at the centre and an initial practice phase in calm water near the start, the instructor helps you consolidate the skills needed to feel comfortable in the craft.
The price is per person. A good level of physical fitness is required and alcohol or drug use is prohibited. The indicated activity times include registration, changing, dry-land training, transport, river activity and return to the base.
Equipment Provided
For the activity, the following equipment is provided: inflatable canoe, paddle, 3 mm neoprene wetsuit, water jacket, buoyancy aid and helmet.
Technical Note:
The technical staff decides the routes according to seasonality and water level, in order to ensure maximum fun in safe conditions.
Recommended Clothing:
Participants are advised to bring a fleece or microfiber thermal layer, swimsuit, socks and trekking shoes or trainers. Classic tennis shoes with smooth soles should be avoided.
